Clarice Sterling, the protagonist of ‘Silence of the Lambs’ will be getting her own series on CBS. This will be written and directed by Alex Kurtzman and Jenny Lumet, who have worked on many projects but most notably is Star Trek Discovery for CBS All Access. The series will take place in 1993, a year after the events of the film, and follow Clarice as she returns to the field as she investigates murders in Washington D.C.. The pilot is written and set to shoot soon.
