During this morning’s Smash Direct Nintendo announced the newest fighter to join Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Byleth. Byleth is yet another character from Fire Emblem, leaving many disappointed. This was made worst with the speculations leaning towards Dante of Devil May Cry. The new stage coming with Byleth is Garreg Mach Monastery, the main hub of Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
Along with the latest fighter, they announced that new next season will bring six new characters through December 2021. They said these characters are already set and in development. The only peak into the next season is Breath of the Wild Ancient Soldier Mii costume. We will keep you up to date when new skins are released.
