The Pokemon Company has a new cloud-based system coming in February that will allow you to store pokemon from past games and transfer them to future games called Pokemon Home. There are two plans, Free and Premium. The Free version allows you to store up to 30 pokemon while the premium version will hold 6,000 pokemon. There are other limitations to the free version like deposit limits and trade restrictions. The main feature of Pokemon Home is a hub to store and transfer pokemon from and to Pokemon Sword/Shield, Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee/Pikachu, Pokemon Bank, and eventually Pokemon Go. You will also be able to trade with friends and strangers on the Global Trade System. This will also feature the most complete Pokedex linking the current games and future games. All users will get one free month then have the option to use the Free plan or go Premium with three different payment tiers. The tiers are $2.99 per month, $4.99 per three months, or $15.99 for a year.
