Resident Evil 4 Remake in the Works

Capcom has approved the development of Resident Evil 4 Remake after the success of both Resident Evil 2 and 3 Remakes. According to VGC, the devolpment teams tapped for the project are the crews responsible for Devil May Cry V and Resident Evil 2 Remake. The original RE4 director, Shinji Mikami, was offered the position again for the remake but declined while giving his blessings to the new project.

2005’s Resident Evil 4 is Capcom’s highest rated game of all-time, according to review aggregation site Metacritic, with sales totalling 7.5 million copies across various platforms.
