Nintendo Tries to Keep Up with Demand

In the wake of current events, Nintendo has struggled due to delays and increased demands from quarantined players. This is made worse by small resellers that create bots to buy everything as soon as they are in stock.

According to a report by Nikkei Asian Review, Nintendo plans to increase Switch production by 10%. This uptick in production will be difficult because the Switch uses many parts built outside of Nintendo’s own facilities. If a supplier can’t increase their production as well, then Nintendo’s plans will come to a halt.

Gaming is on the rise while people stay home. eSports has transitioned to online events only, but they have been in high demand as the only sporting events left. Non-gamers are discovering new ways to stay entertained. The Switch is the perfect platform for all of these. If you are new to gaming, the Switch provides an array of user-friendly games. For the hardcore player or eSports aficionado, Smash Bros. will keep you on the edge of your seat. This perfect storm makes the Nintendo Switch a quarantine must-have.
