Microsoft will be launching its game streaming service, Project xCloud, this September free to all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. xCloud will allow you to stream games to multiple devices including PC, TV, Tablets, and phones, much like Google’s Stadia. You can even start a game on one device and instantly continue to play on another.
Game Pass Ultimate is the combination of the standard Game Pass and Xbox Live for $14.99. Xbox promises that at launch more than 100 Game Pass titles will be playable on all devices.
“We want to bring xCloud, eventually, to every screen that someone can stream games to. Right now we’re just saying mobile. There are discussions going on and we’re working through things. We’ll talk more specifically about which mobile devices through August and the September launch.” – Phil Spencer
