The biggest disappointment from a geek standpoint for us has been the cancelation of conventions like E3 and Blizzcon. The replacement for E3 was a series of developers holding their events with a variety of success. As for Blizzcon, we have a date for its replacement. A digital version called Blizzconline is coming February 19th and 20th in 2021. We will be doing a live event for both days on our Podcast, Twitch, and YouTube channel.
As you walk the halls of the Anaheim Convention Center you are in constant awe of the cosplay and fanart that surrounds you. Blizzard will be bringing these to your home with the Community Showcase. A series of exhibitions and competitions to celebrate the best and brightest in our community. This will feature cosplay, art, digital storytelling, talent spotlight, and the March of the Murlocs. If you want to participate, you need to have submitted your application by January 4th on the BlizzCon Site.
Along with the all the community events we can expect some big announcements and more details. We expect release dates on Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, and Diablo Immortal. There should also be a reveal for the next tier in WoW: Shadowlands.
