The Metal Gear Solid has found their Snake! Oscar Isaac is set to play Solid Snake in the Hideo Kojima video game adaptation. Joining the team is Avi Arad and Peter Kang as producers.
Oscar Isaac has most notably played Poe Dameron in the new Star Wars Trilogy. He was also chosen to play Moon Knight for the upcoming Disney Plus series. His rough and tumble action hero look will serve well in portraying Solid Snake.
Snake is the lead role of the Metal Gear Solid games and is a special agent often working from behind enemy lines. Players typically have to survive a massive army and the elements alone. The series is known for its expansive and confusing story. The producers have plenty of source material here but will need to make sense of the many plots and disjointed timeline.
