We have the first “trusted” source giving us Spider-Verse news! Collider is reporting some major past Spider-Man characters are returning for Spider-Man 3.
First is Alfred Molina as Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man 2. He has been seen on set as filming starts in Atlanta. Molina joining the team is not the first returning villain; Jamie Foxx was revealed earlier this year. The most important thing is both are founding members of the Sinister Six. Doc Ock being the first leader.
Andrew Garfield and Kirsten Dunst are both confirmed by Collider as well. Garfield is the first confirmed returning Spider-Man with Toby McGuire still in talks with Sony. Dunst was the first big-screen MJ. Her conversations with Zendaya will be a lot of fun.
On a side note, Zendaya was questioned about Spider-Verse during Kimmel and didn’t break. But Kimmel is very mainstream and if he is discussing it, it’s a good sign we are past back ally rumors.

- Toby MaGuire has been sighted at a costume department. Speculation is a fitting for his new Spidey-suit.
- Rumors are starting that Netflix’s Charlie Cox may be joining the cast as Daredevil. Sources for this are a small blog and should be treated a pure speculation.
