Riot Making a League of Legends MMO

Riot confirms they are working on a League of Legends MMO! The news comes from their Riot’s Greg Street (Ghostcrawler) on Twitter.

Ghostcrawler grew to fame as the man in charge of World Of Warcraft in its early days. He then moved on to Riot in 2013 as a lead game designer. His presence on the project indicates Riot’s possible directions for their MMO. One would presume the Tencent owned company would want to create an Eastern MMO like Final Fantasy 14 or Genshin Impact. But with Greg Street at the helm, we could see some Western influences. Possible the subscription model will make a comeback.
