Steam had one of its best years in 2020 with users stuck at home, and the first week of 2021 is record-breaking. According to SteamDB and PCGamesN, Steam pasted the 25 million concurrent users threshold for the first time.

The heavy hitters moving Steam to these new heights are Among Us, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Dota 2. Other games that did well in 2020 on the platform were CyberPunk 2077, Stardew Valley, and Rainbow Six Siege.
