Netflix’s ‘The Sandman’ took a big step in production today by announcing the cast.

Dream, the main character, will be played by Tom Sturridge. Sturridge is best known for the films “On the Road” and “Pirate Radio.”

Gwendoline Christie will be playing Lucifer. Christie is best known for playing Brienne of Tarth in HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones.’ This is also the same DC Lucifer from the ‘Lucifer’ tv series.

Vivienne Acheampong is playing Lucienne. People may recognise her from 2020’s ‘Witches.’

The Corinthian will be played by Boyd Holbrook from ‘Logan’ and ‘The Predator.’

Roderick Burgess will be played by Charles Dance. That’s Tywin Lannister from ‘Game of Thrones’!

Asim Chaudhry will play Abel. Chaudhry is known for ‘People Just Do Nothing’ and made an appearance in ‘Wonder Woman 1984.’

The last confirmed casting is Abel’s counter-part Cain. Sanjeev Bhaskar from 2019’s ‘Yesterday’ will play Cain.
The 11-episode series will be written by Allan Heinberg of ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘The O.C.’ DC also revealed the famed audiobook is also getting a part 2 and 3. We discussed ‘The Sandman’ part 1 audiobook on Push to Talk. Available below.
