Discord is up for bids, and Microsoft wants in. There are several companies interested in purchasing the communication platform. Microsoft is currently offering $10 billion, according to Bloomberg. They also report that the company is likely to go public instead of selling to others.
Discord is a communication platform that has grown quickly amongst gamers. After gamers have made it their preferred home, brands and companies have jumped on board. Outside of the voice chat, there are also text channels, the ability to upload photos, and embed videos. Discord has become a place to build communities around a common interest.
