E3 2021 Coming June 12 through June 15

E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) returns June 12 through June 15 after being canceled last year due to COVID. Xbox and Nintendo have already confirmed their participation in the event. E3 is showing signs of coming back, strong as ever!

After E3 2020 was canceled, individual developers held their virtual events with mixed success. Some were underwhelming or unorganized, but others proved the future of conventions needs to embrace virtual aspects. Xbox’s showcase had trailers one after another, bringing us back to the Xbox stage of old. DC Fandome gave us full panels of cast members sharing details of future projects. Both will likely be adopted by E3 2021.

We can expect many trailers and teasers to dive into. We at Geek Freaks will provide reactions and analysis on all the big hitters. We may even get a deeper look into the developers and actors behind the games. BlizzCon has embraced this years ago but with Zoom, all can participate. We could see panels with the voice cast for the next Assassin’s Creed altogether. This would give a level of insight into future games we have rarely seen.

Major developers and publishers are on board. Most notable, Xbox and Nintendo are returning.

“early commitments from Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games and Koch Media.

E3 Game On

Xbox has a lot to show off following the delay of Halo Infinite and the acquisition of Bethesda. Geek Freaks will spotlight each major publisher and their upcoming projects.
