“Outriders” Update Wiping Inventory

“Outriders” has seen early success after its April 1st release, but a recent update has fans upset. Developer, People Can Fly, promised the update would fix multiplayer issues. Unfortunately for many, the download wipes all their inventory, locks characters, and reverses nearly 100 hours of gameplay.

Players took to Twitter and Reddit to air their complaints.

We personally had 1 #Outriders wipe issue, now a locked Character on 2 accounts. (PC).

Its clear the Devs know the seriousness.

80 hours of gameplay disappeared after the "fix patch" All gear gone and I cant even Login to chest farm new gear… because i cant login with this character anymore. from outriders

People Can Fly and Square Enix are working tirelessly on fixing the new bug.

“Since the recent patch we have seen an increase in reports of this issue – resolving the inventory wipe is our top priority and will remain so until fixed.”

They also promise appreciation gear for players who have joined the game between March 31st to April 11th. Your highest level character will receive a Legendary Weapon, a level-appropriate amount of Titanium and the “Frustration” emote.
