Sadly, BlizzCon is canceled for another year. This is a safety measure regarding COVID. The event is typically in Anaheim at the Convention Center in November. 40 to 50 thousand attendees pile in to celebrate Blizzard games and hangout out with friends. Blizzard did say they will have a ‘hybrid’ event in early 2022.
We at Geek Freaks love BlizzCon. We normally go every year to meet up with friends we’ve made through Blizzard games. We have covered the event with live recordings and immediate reactions. With the lack of a BlizzCon this year, we have an open spot in our November schedule. We are working on holding our own event, similar to last year’s Gathered Gamers. The details are still in the works, but we will celebrate Blizzard games and bring on others that have found a new home with their titles. We will keep the site and podcast updates as we gather more details.
