Speculations about the next James Bond are rife, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Lucien Laviscount among the favorites for the role. Taylor-Johnson reportedly met with producer Barbara Broccoli and impressed her in a “secret audition” for the role, although he may become “too famous” due to his upcoming roles in the Marvel and Fall Guy films. Meanwhile, Laviscount has caught Broccoli’s eye due to his talent, good looks, and recent popularity from his role in Emily in Paris. However, Laviscount’s past appearance on Big Brother in 2011 may work against him. Broccoli has described the next James Bond as a “reinvention,” and the requirements for the role include being British, male, and in the 30s.
