Jeremy Renner, the actor known for his role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was involved in a snowplow accident on January 1, 2023. According to Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve and the local sheriff’s office, he was helping an unknown individual who was stranded in the snow when he was trampled under his personal Snowcat vehicle as he tried to clear a shelf of snow in front of his house. Renner sustained severe injuries to his leg and torso as well as significant blood loss and was flown to the hospital for surgery. His condition is currently critical but stable.

The silver lining in all this is the many people, including his MCU co-stars and family, who have expressed their support for Renner and wished him a speedy recovery. Renner posted to Instagram a picture of himself with severe injuries. The message was short but he thanks everyone and sent his love.
