Justin Roiland, a co-creator and executive producer of the animated series Rick and Morty, has been accused of domestic violence and has parted ways with Warner Bros. Discovery and Adult Swim as a result. The accusations came to light recently and it is not believed that his departure will have an impact on the show’s production. Roiland is also involved with the animated series Solar Opposites and Koala Man. He has been charged with one count of domestic battery and one count of false imprisonment, and has denied the allegations in court. His lawyer has stated that they expect the case to be dismissed following a review of the evidence by the District Attorney’s office.
