TBS has announced the launch of a new documentary series called AEW: All Access, which will give viewers an inside look at the lives of the biggest stars in All Elite Wrestling. The series is set to premiere this March and will feature wrestlers such as Adam Cole, Dr. Britt Baker, Sammy Guevara, Tay Conti, The Young Bucks, Saraya, Wardlow, and Eddie Kingston, as well as AEW CEO, GM, and Head of Creative Tony Khan.
According to Khan, the new show will give fans a chance to “peek behind the curtain” and see how their favorite wrestlers navigate the challenges of the industry on a week-to-week basis. AEW: All Access joins TBS and TNT’s other wrestling content, including AEW: Dynamite and AEW: Rampage.
The series is produced by Shed Media in association with AEW and Activist Artists Management, and executive producers include Tony Khan, Dan Peirson, Lisa Shannon, Sam Berns, Alan Bloom, Bernie Cahill, and Jon Kanak. This marks the first new unscripted series greenlit by TBS in 2023 and is part of the network’s strategy for launching entertainment programming that complements its sports and wrestling coverage.
TBS Chairman and Chief Content Officer Kathleen Finch has previously spoken about the network’s focus on sports-adjacent programming and reality shows in the sports world. With AEW: All Access, TBS is hoping to give its loyal and dedicated fan base a new way to experience the wrestling universe they love.
Jason Sarlanis, President of Turner Networks, ID, & HLN Linear and Streaming, has also expressed excitement about the launch of AEW: All Access, saying that the series will bring in a new audience and give existing fans a deeper appreciation for the sport.
AEW: All Access is the latest addition to the All Elite Wrestling franchise, which has seen tremendous success since its inception in 2019. With this new documentary series, fans can look forward to even more behind-the-scenes glimpses into the lives of their favorite wrestlers.
