John Boyega’s Return
According to a new rumor, John Boyega, who starred in the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, might be joining Daisy Ridley’s upcoming Jedi-focused movie. The rumor was reported by Jeff Sneider and John Rocha, established scoopers who claimed on their YouTube series, The Hot Mic, that Boyega would reprise his role as Finn in Ridley’s as-yet-untitled film. Rocha said that different sources have told him that Boyega would be coming back for the movie. However, it’s important to note that Boyega has not officially signed on for the project. Ridley’s Star Wars project was announced by Lucasfilm in April 2023 and little is known about it except that it will follow Rey Skywalker’s efforts to rebuild the Jedi Order fifteen years after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The film will be directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chino, who will work from a script by Steven Knight, and produced by Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy.
Mando’s Big Helmet Moment
According to a new report, Pedro Pascal’s absence from the final episode of The Mandalorian Season 3, “Chapter 24: The Return,” was due to scheduling conflicts. The report claims that Pascal was filming for his role in the upcoming HBO series, The Last of Us. This report should be taken with a grain of salt, as Lucasfilm has not yet commented on the matter. Pascal’s onscreen presence in The Mandalorian has been a recent topic of discussion, as reports allege that he initially objected to being paid at a lower rate offered to voice actors.
