Fans of The Mandalorian were disappointed when Boba Fett did not make an appearance in Season 3 as expected. Temuera Morrison, the actor who portrays Boba Fett, revealed during a recent Q&A panel at the SUPANOVA Comic Con & Gaming convention that he was supposed to be in the show but never received a call from Disney or Lucasfilm. Morrison joked that “that Mando guy stole a few chapters of my book” and took over his own show.
The future of Boba Fett in the Star Wars universe remains unclear, but there are many possibilities for the classic bounty hunter. Lucasfilm has several exciting new projects in the works, including three new live-action movies from talented directors Dave Filoni, James Mangold, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. One of these movies will feature Daisy Ridley’s Rey as she tries to bring back the Jedi Order years after the events of Rise of Skywalker.
While the fate of Boba Fett remains uncertain, it is clear that the Star Wars franchise continues to capture the imaginations of fans worldwide. With new movies and shows in development, there are sure to be many more exciting adventures set in a galaxy far, far away.
