Marvel Reportedly Preparing to Recast Jonathan Majors for Future MCU Appearances

Marvel Studios is reportedly preparing to recast actor Jonathan Majors for the character of Kang the Conqueror in future Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) appearances, depending on his legal situation. Majors has been facing several assault charges, leading to concerns among fans that Marvel would continue to work with him. However, according to Cosmic Circus, the actor has already shot his scenes for the second season of Loki, where he will play several variants of Kang the Conqueror.

Sources familiar with the situation state that Marvel and Disney are closely monitoring the case before making any official decision. If Majors’ legal situation doesn’t turn around for the better, Marvel is reportedly prepared to recast the role of Kang the Conqueror. Majors and his legal team insist that he is innocent, but he has already been dropped by his management and PR agency, in addition to several upcoming projects.

The first season of Loki is currently available to watch on Disney+. The cast of the second season will once again feature Tom Hiddleston as the titular character, along with Kate Dickie, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, and Rafael Casal. Marvel has not yet made an official statement on the matter, but fans will undoubtedly be watching closely for any updates regarding the future of Kang the Conqueror in the MCU.
