Beetlejuice 2 Release Date

Warner Bros. has announced the official release date of “Beetlejuice 2,” the sequel to the 1988 film directed by Tim Burton. The movie is set to arrive in theaters on September 6, 2024, and Burton will reunite with original stars Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder. New cast members will include Jenna Ortega and Justin Theroux in undisclosed roles. The original movie was about newly deceased newlyweds who try to scare away the living from their home with the help of a “bio-exorcist” named Beetlejuice. The sequel will go up against Marvel’s Blade movie, but it remains to be seen if the superhero film’s pre-production pause will affect those plans.

Hollow Knight: Silksong Delayed

Team Cherry has announced a delay for the highly anticipated game Hollow Knight: Silksong. The game was originally planned for release in the first half of 2023 but has been pushed back to an unknown date. Matthew Griffin, marketing and publishing lead at Team Cherry, stated that the team wants to take more time to ensure the game is as good as it can be. More details will be shared as the game nears its release date. Hollow Knight: Silksong is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Hollow Knight and was initially announced for a PC and Nintendo Switch release but has since been confirmed for Xbox and PlayStation as well.

James Gunn Boasts ScreenX

Filmmaker James Gunn recommends fans of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to watch the film on ScreenX for the full experience. The film has already received positive reviews and marks the end of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, with Rocket Raccoon as the true star. The film delves into Rocket’s backstory and features thrilling action scenes with nearly every character from the previous films. Gunn spoke about the advantages of ScreenX, which enhances the film’s expansiveness and allows audiences to see the franchise’s locations in new ways.

Jack Ryan Premiere Date

The fourth and final season of Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will be released on Amazon Prime Video on June 30, with two episodes airing every week until July 14. This is a departure from the previous three seasons, which were released all at once.

New Nintendo Switch Expected Date

Nintendo has stated that they will not release a successor to the Switch until April 2024 at the earliest, debunking rumors about new hardware. Despite a decline in Switch sales, Nintendo has forecasted another drop in the coming year and will focus on bolstering demand during the holiday season. There is no official information about the next piece of Nintendo hardware yet.
