Nintendo Removes Duplication Glitches in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Patch

Nintendo has released a patch for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, addressing various issues and removing all known duplication glitches from the game. Players who want to continue using these glitches to gain infinite rupees may choose to delay updating to Version 1.1.2, as reported by Vooks.

Although the patch notes do not explicitly mention the removal of the glitches, players quickly discovered methods to duplicate items in the launch version of the game. Nintendo has now eliminated these exploits, including the popular arrow glitch, which allowed players to duplicate items fused with an arrow, as well as the weapon and shield glitch.

The official patch notes acknowledge fixing an issue related to excessively loud sound in certain conditions and resolving a progression stoppage in the Camera Work in the Depths quest. Additionally, Nintendo stated that several other issues were addressed to enhance the overall gameplay experience.

Despite the removal of these glitches, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has achieved significant success, with over 10 million copies sold and earning a perfect 10/10 rating in our review. We described the game as an exceptional follow-up, expanding the already immersive world of Hyrule beyond expectations.
