Oscar Isaac will play Moon Night in an upcoming Disney+ series. Isaac recently starred in the new Star Wars trilogy and the Dune remake. He’ll be joining Netflix’s Umbrella Academy writer Jeremy Slater. Disney and Marvel have not selected a director yet but likely looking for someone familiar with Moon Knight’s gritty and dark world.
Marc Spector, Moon Knight, is a mercenary that was given a second chance at life by the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. He is now the avatar of the moon god with superhuman abilities. Moon Knight’s multiple personalities make him very unique from typical superheroes. This will be a challenge for Oscar Isaac to recreate.
