EA just announced Star Wars: Squadrons! This is a 5v5 space battle game that takes place after the events of Return of the Jedi. The Empire is out for revenge and the Resistance is setting up a new Republic. We see during the trailer that Star Wars Rebels’ Hera Syndulla and Wedge Antilles are both in-game. Similar to the original Star Wars Battlefront 2, players will have two goals during space battles, destroy enemy flagship or defeat the numerous enemy fighters. Cosmetics have been confirmed for weapons hulls, engines, shields, and more. Check out the trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons!
Other Star Wars news is the cancelation of Star Wars Celebration 2020. This is a precaution due to COVID-19. They have not announced any replacement digital events but if they do, we’ll keep you posted right here.
