More information out of Gamescom today! With over 40 trailers, there is a lot to cover. To make it easier on you (me too) we’ll just do our Top 5 Gamescom Trailers!
5. Lego Star Wars: Skywalker Saga
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is the most complete Logo Star Wars collection yet. It covers all nine primary films from Episode 1: Phantom Menace to Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker. Next-gen graphics revitalize the Lego game tropes to new heights. Pick up your copy in Spring 2022.
4. Halo Infinite – Release Date
We have a release date, December 8th! We got to meet a new character as well, Commander Agryna, who will lead us through the first season of Halo Infinite’s Free-to-play multiplayer. Microsoft is also releasing a Halo controller and console.
3. Call of Duty: Vanguard – Gameplay
We got nine minutes of campaign gameplay following Polina in Stalingrad. Vanguard looks like a fast-paced version of the early games in the franchise. As a fan of Call of Duty 2, I’m excited to return.
2. Marvel’s Midnight Sun
A new Marvel tactical RPG is coming from Firaxis; makers of Xcom and Civilization. Some of Marvel’s greatest heroes, like Wolverine, Ghost Rider, and Blade, will fight through the depths of hell to defeat Lilith before the Darkhold book is complete. Join the fight in March 2022.
1. Saints Row
Saints Row is back and better than ever! The franchise is getting a much-needed reboot. We are visiting a new city called Santo Lleso, with new gang factions for us to challenge. We can now buy buildings to expand our criminal empire. Best of all, you can work with friends. The campaign will be fully co-op. See you in Santo Lleso on February 25th!
